Trewollas Beach Cottage is a self catering holiday rental home situated by the sea in the far south west of Cornwall, just beyond Penzance.

Set on the sand dunes up above Sennen Cove and Whitesands Bay, less than 2 miles from Lands End, this delightful, romantic 'hide away' is a perfect location for a self catering vacation.

The South West Coastal Path passes the door and our seaside cottage is the perfect base for coastal walks, bird watching, and appreciating spring flowers.

Whitesands Bay provides excellent swimming, surfing and body boarding and frequent sightings of dolphins, whales and seals.

We do allow one or two well behaved dogs for a small extra cost. Sennen Beach is dog friendly in the winter months and at Gwenver beach, which is a short, spectacular walk away, dogs are allowed all year round

The cottage is very private, not at all overlooked and faces south west towards Lands End with fantastic views from most windows and from the gardens where you can sit and watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. The garden has a small patio, sun terrace and a lawned area with a barbeque.

There are two bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom. Fully equipped with everything you might need during your self catering holiday our cottage has satellite TV, DVD & CD players, a phone line & WiFi internet.

Full central heating makes this a cosy retreat for winter breaks, bird watching and walking holidays.

From the garden there is a private footpath which in 2 to 3 minutes will take you down to the South West Coastal Path & on to the vast sandy ‘Blue Flag’ beach of Whitesands Bay, renowned for its excellent surfing and swimming.

"We had an incredible time at Trewollas last week. I think we were stuck in our own micro-climate, the skies were blue and the sun shone – it was so warm that we were able to breakfast on the “terrace” and the dog and I actually swam in the sea without wetsuits! It was wonderful to be washed asleep to the sound of the surf, and then to watch the cove wake up in the morning. You are so blessed to own this piece of heaven – thank you for sharing it."

A leisurely 10 minute stroll through the sand dunes or along the golden sandy beach will take you to Sennen Cove with its pub, The Old Success Inn, award winning restaurant “The Beach”, plus several other restaurants, galleries & shops.

Places to visit nearby include; Penzance, The Scilly Isles, The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, St Ives and its Tate Museum, Cornwall’s largest town, Truro and The Eden Project near St Austell. There are many wonderful gardens to visit in this part of Cornwall and of course there is the most wonderful Cornish coastline with all its bays and coves to explore. Information about all of these tourist attractions and a supply of local maps are kept at the house for your use.

Just had another lovely stay at Trewollas. (our 7th visit). We just have to come every year for the view from the sitting room, the sight and sound of the sea in all weathers, the walking and the very comfortable accomodation. I have yet to stay in a better cottage in the UK . AJ October 2011

"I just wanted to say a very big THANK YOU for a marvellous week at your wonderful “hidey hole” at Sennen. It could not have been better for us – the sun shone, the lifeboat launched (on exercise), the fishermen fished, and we walked all over the place.

We had a fabulous meal at The Beach, and a very good one at the Old Success. At the end of our time we did not want to leave – it felt like ‘going back to school’ to leave the place. Quite excellent. May 2010
